Comment by Vicky Dill on September 24, 2009 at 5:26pm - Beauty must be that seen when your throat catches and tears sail like hot rockets out of your eyes. Any number of visions or sights can attain this height: your first-born, a song with your name in it; a choir that sang to your ancestors, anger at indignities leveled with vitriol at others. That which is beautiful in our eyes may be counter-intuitive to others. In my case, within the last several years, I found a surgeon who saved my vision, so waking up every morning is beauty to me.
